They make one attempt only to drop the package of and then do drive byes just so the gps registers it, then ship it back the next day without holding it for two day like they are required to. Today these assholes literally told me I could come pick it up at their facility over 3 hours away if I wanted it sooner. I’ll never use FedEx again. I’ve told all my friends and family too. I thought USPS was bad, but FEDEX now gets my vote as the WORST, most pathetic shipping company that I’ve ever experienced. Same issue as others…. The package arrived here locally at 2AM on Sunday (12/7). They told me it would be delivered Monday (12/9), it didn’t happen. Tuesday (12/10) 6AM it’s “on the truck for delivery”, but it never shows. Wednesday (12/11), my FEDEX tracker alerts me that it’s “out for delivery” – again nothing shows. Phone calls are either unanswered, or a CSR who reads the script “we apologize, but be assured your package is in transit to your location”. I call BS. They apparently don’t have adequate staffing and delivery trucks to handle the volume. How come UPS can deliver on time every days from Amazon, but my Walmart.com shipments (on FEDEX) take forever.

There is no gate or anything that would prevent “attempting” to deliver. They never left a tag, or note, they simply chose NOT to deliver to me for the 3rd day in a row I’ve been promised.

I ordered nitrate and nitrite free bacon for my family. Delivery was shipped last Tuesday and was supposed to have been delivered by last Friday at 8 pm. It didn't arrive. The package sat in a facility all day Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Delivered on Tuesday when I called to complain to the meat company. Delivery took 8 days instead of 3, and the product was ruined when it arrived. Company sending a new shipment this week. We'll see if it makes the Friday evening estimate.

Called yesterday and filed a complaint. They said they will find the package and call me with a new date. Not call ever. Said this morning deliver today. Shows it got to Columbus at 2am and still never made it on a truck today. So obviously not coming today either. UPS is much better. Fed Ex is a complete clownshow. My package came from Colorado, went to Illinois, flew from Illinois right through Ohio to Ky. Not it came to Ohio from KY. Get your shit together you friggin clowns. What a bunch of mf'ers!! LIARS! For the past 3 years my FedEx deliveries have all come through a contractor that doesn't delivery when they are "busy"!! I called the supervisor and all he cared about was "how did you get my number?" He said "it's our busy season, not everything can be delivered on time, only so much fits on a truck". WTF Other companies like UPS, Amazon and real FedEx rent trucks and vans from U-Haul and Enterprise to get stuff delivered! He actually told me there was no supervisor higher than him. I called the 800# which is overseas and the person just kept reading a script. I asked for a supervisor and was told NO! (Only high priority packages can speak to a supervisor!). That person also said "there are other packages more important than yours, so your will be delivered another day".
My package was loaded on the truck! This location screws up CONSTANTLY. I get about 30 packages a year from them. They have been delayed because they opened the box when it dropped, delayed because they were just running late, no room on the truck and one time said they could not find my address! I HATE FEDEX. Too bad their lazy ass, greedy CEO doesn't read this site. If I order something from Kohl's and they send half UPS, half Fed Ex, I always get the UPS 3 to 4 days earlier. If I track a package I can see that they leave them sitting at a station for days before finally getting them on the next truck to my area. There is a real FedEx location less than 20 miles from here, but all my packages come from a contractor almost 3 hours away! Sometimes my package goes for a ride around the country. It will make it close then get shipped far away (other end of the country) before SLOWLY making its way back. With their outrageous fees you'd think they could have a U.S .based call center. In case I was clear I f%@kING HATE FEDEX.

My package made it from Texas accross the country to my state and has been in my state for 4 days now literally going back and fourth between different hubs. The status hasn't been updated in 2 days and when I call to check at the status of the package, customer service can only give me information readily available for anyone with a tracking number. Customer service simply gives generic answers to get you off their back and what specifics I did recieve turned out to be incorrect or just fabricated to divert my attention.

This package is expensive and important and in the same time it has taken for this package to get to my state, I have had multiple other shippers (UPS, USPS, Amazon, etc) ship me packages in half the time. There always seems to be some issue when I ship through FedEx.......

There system tells me yesterday, Dec 10th, that it is out for delivery. At the end of the day, it says no attempt was made, rescheduled for following day. As of 10:30am today, Wed Dec 11th, no update so I call. They tell me is still being unloaded off the original trailer and was never out for delivery, and will be delivered tomorrow. I really don't believe them.. and I will always ask how things are being delivered in the future and not buy anything being shipped by them.

Really, I don't mind things taking longer, but stop lying about it.

I live twenty minutes away from the Ohio border. This is not my first rodeo in the FedEx arena; years ago I ordered on a few occasions, live marine creatures from Live Aquaria. They arrived dead, each time. I don't know what FedEx's deal is, but they pretty much suck IMO.

I now live in California and Fedex is four days behind the delivery of a significant package, and claimed that they couldn't deliver (from a warehouse located 20 mins drive away) due to a LOCAL HOLIDAY. It is december 10, there has not been a local holiday in the past WEEK.

Fedex not only lies, but does everything in their power to make you suffer every step of the way.
Where I come from, I call that being a straight up c*nt.

It has been two days (Dec 10) since that update. I've contacted FedEx customer service and have been told to expect a response with-in 24 hours, but that was 72 hours ago.
Please do yourself a favor and take your business to (and request that people shipping to you) use any other shipping provider. UPS is cheaper and the USPS is more reliable and honest. FedEx Sucks!

You call and an automated voice just tells you that the package is on the way to the last station before delivery. No new delivery date. No acknowledgement that they are late. Pure arrogance. I had to figure out how to do the workshop without the materials. After 5 days a many calls, I get a voicemail saying I had to provide a credit card for them to ship my materials back to me. If you can stand their music and hold messages you will eventually be connected with a live person who understands minimal English. Just simply say “supervisor. I need to speak with a supervisor “. Some will connect you right away, some will fight you, some will ask questions (most of which I refuse to answer). Eventually you will get connected with a supervisor who will offer to elevate your issue and contact your local station to address your problem. You may have to try several times to get a customer service agent who understands “supervisor “ but keep trying. If we all inundate this failing company with requests to speak with a supervisor someone may get a hint. Keep trying. Keep pushing. AND GET NAMES!!! Tell them you want them to call you back with updates and get a commitment from them. We as paying customers deserve better. The supervisor I finally spoke with was professional and empathetic. Not sure yet if my concern has been taken seriously but at least I have a name, and now when I call the 800 number I get connected right away. They obviously “have my number ” 🤣. GOOD LUCK!!

terrible terrible service. Had two seperate packages supposed to be delivered sat 12/7. One was food on ice (which came 2 days late and had to be thrown away, luckily got a refund from the seller)....

Due to it's size, 60 lb recliner, I waited all day for delivery so it could be placed in my garage, not at the front door. Room it is going in is not ready to receive it yet! After waiting all day, the status showed it was in TX and delivery was now pending! So not sure how fast it would move from there, I waited Friday and Saturday (All DAY) and still nothing as I watched it slowly creep its way across the south. Finally, Sunday I get and update it has arrived in Jacksonville, FL and Delivery will be Tuesday. I plan to run errands Monday, and wait for the delivery Tuesday! Monday morning arrives, and a new update says expected delivery is now MONDAY! So plans change and I wait. Monday gone and still no update or chair!. I wake Tuesday morning, latest update, the barcode label was not readable, but your expected delivery is Tuesday, 12/10.....after numerous calls, messages and e mails to both the seller and FED EX....I get the response.....TO BAD SO SAD, be patient watch the tracking info, we were slammed with Black Friday and Cyber Monday and you just have to wait. I wasted two days to be home to protect my package from freezing and can’t afford to wait another day by my door. Somehow, it got to the township, was GPS timestamped, but it somehow was in the township for over 40 hours before getting to the facility. Where was my package for almost two days??? Fast forward to my delivery date. Doesn't come. I get an emailed update at 9:30 pm that my package won't be delivered that day. Yeah, no $#!Г Sherlock. It isn't an update if you tell me afterwards. Call customer service, takes a few minutes just to talk to a human being. Ivan, oh Ivan. Well, Ivan told me that the delivery date was (and I'm quoting) Commited to Tuesday. Well, I have all of the emails and updates that they sent me saying that the package will be delivered on or before sunday. The whole conversation was basically me saying facts, and them denying it, and basically refusing to answer questions. After I got off the phone, i got an email that my delivery would now be monday. it took less than 30 minutes to leave the facility. Less than 5 hours later, it got to the local facility. Less than 7 minutes getting to the facility, it was put on a truck. That should not be possible. I'm glad they finally moved my package, but if they can do that with a package, they can do it with every package. After being scanned into the delivery truck, there has been no more updates, nor has the package been delivered. According to tracking, my package has just been sitting in the actual delivery truck. The problem is necessarily the length of shipment, it's the lack of any transparency on fedex's part.

I recently ordered a new phone on black friday. You can imagine how upset I was when I learned it would be shipped via FedEx. They said it would be delivered by 12/3 to 12/4. One the 3rd, it said out for delivery and would arrive by the end of the day. Then it happened again on the 4th, 5th and 6th. On the 6th, I got a package that shipped THE DAY BEFORE and still didn't get my first package. I called and they said it should arrive any day. I requested it be put on hold at a location between my house and the city it was coming from so that it would be earlier in their route. My app now said that it was at the local facility again. So it went from being on the truck for nearly a week to back in a bin somewhere. I called yesterday and they said it would be at the Walgreens (Holding location) today (12/9). Today at 11 my app still said it was at the facility which meant it didn't go out on a truck this morning. I called AGAIN and they told me it probably wouldn't be able to get to my house and that they would let me go pick it up from this facility which is an HOUR away. They also said I would need to be there within the hour. So I drive all the way down, very excited to get my new phone, and arrive around 12. I left around 1:15 with no phone. They said "There are a lot of packages... We can't find it anywhere. So after waiting over an hour in their office, I had nothing but an hour drive ahead of me. At least they'll call me whenever it comes up...

I shipped a $4000 package containing a custom-built acoustic guitar from Mobile AL to Surrey, UK. My client wanted the most economical shipping, which would take five days and cost $650. The tracking stalled out two days after I shipped, at the Memphis hub. The package is now two weeks late, and there's no sign of movement, or even where in the hell it is. I made several email inquiries, and got no answer. I called the customer service three times and got shunted around through a maze of automated bullshit; STILL no useful information. I can't connect with a live human. I don't know if the shipment has been lost or destroyed. No one at FedEx will step up and give me any information at all.

Bought a TV on newegg and the seller shipped it with FedEx. Everything was on schedule until it got about 2 hours away from its destination. Delivery was supposed to be on Friday but the date was changed 4 times to "Uknown", "12/09", "12/10", and then back to "12/09". I checked the tracking often and from Friday to Saturday, they shipped the package to a location maybe 15-20 minutes away from where it was on Friday. Then on Sunday instead of the package being delivered to its destination, it was delivered to a facility that is *further away than the final destination*. Literally all the driver had to to was drive 7 less miles to get the package to the doorstep but instead, drops it off at a 3rd location even further out?? I get that its a busy season for all delivery services but how are you going to deliver a package to another facility when the actual destination is not only closer than said facility but is also on the f%@king way from where it came from? Terrible, disorganized, unreliable mess of a company.

It constantly reschedules. And then when it finally says it's out for delivery/loaded on the truck, it never shows up. And the garbage tracking doesn't update until either the very end of the day around 9-10pm or the next day.

Today I called this morning and waited 25 min to talk to someone who assured me multiple times my package, after being rescheduled 3 times, was coming today and out for delivery. IT'S 9PM NOW AND THE TRACKING JUST CHANGED TO UNKNOWN DELIVERY DATE.

Never have these issues with UPS or the postal service. FedEx is worthless.

One of the items shipped USPS, and aside from our crappy carrier putting it in a neighbor's box, it arrived on time.

Two other packages shipped Fedex. The first package was supposed to "arrive Dec 2".....Fedex changed the delivery date 3 times and it arrived Dec 6 (at least they got it to the right address). One was delayed (Wal-Mart issue) and when it finally shipped, had a delivery date of Dec 11. That date has already changed twice and is now supposedly Dec 13.

I really dislike FedEx tracking. When I have things ship with USPS or UPS, I can see REGULAR updates daily / every other day on where my item is. Fedex has shown my package in the same location now for 4 days (the other package said "arrived at __(location)__" for 3 days before it changed to "left __(location)__"......I could've driven to that location in less than 4 hours.

Fedex took it upon themselves to return both items from a duplicate order. I was told by the vendor that the duplicate order could not be canceled and the only thing I could do was refuse delivery from FedEx, which I did when the first order arrived. When the duplicate order arrived at the FedEx facility the next day FedEx apparently decided since I had refused the same item the previous day, to also return this item too, without ever attempting to deliver it! I did want one of the items, just not both of them!

Impossible to speak with anyone at FedEx customer service (don't have time to wait on hold for extended time) and have sent 3 emails with no response. I thought their business was just to deliver packages, not make decisions on whether they should deliver packages! FedEx is the absolute worst!

Don't know if they just unload the truck and don't scan the item and put the Home Delivery items on the back burner while prioritizing the business deliveries, but this is B.S. Kind of difficult to plan delivery so that I'm home when the package is delivered(and doesn't get stolen off my porch) when they pull this crap. If they can't handle the volume(apparently the case this year following Black Friday), they need to raise the price, which will ultimately discourage me from buying junk that I don't really need. UPS doesn't seem to have these problems - imagine that!

As of 2 Am this morning my auto parts were supposed to arrive today 12/7/2019 before close of business. Now , even though the parts are at a delivery facility less than four hours away they set the date to the three more days on Tuesday. The tracking system sucks. I can only imagine they destroyed my package and have to reship it from Utah.
If I didn't need the part for my truck to go to work I wouldn't care that much. It was one of the few super nice days here in Houston and it was supposed to be here according to their site. Now it's going to be rainy and cold three more days from now , when and if it arrives.

Tracking will not allow me to reschedule delivery or get an estimated time other than "end of day". So of course they try to deliver in the am when I'm at the docs. I call and they tell me they can leave off at a local Fedex drop-off and I can pick-up there on 12/6 "by end of day". Wonderful! But on 12/6 fedex calls me back - no they cannot leave the package at the drop-off point. Delivery is now rescheduled to my home on 12/7. On 12/7 their tracking states delivery is "pending". ??? So I call them. No the package will NOT be delivered 12/7. And they have no idea when it will be delivered...or even where it is.

Next time I buy anything that has to be shipped, if the shipper uses fedex, I will look elsewhere.

Fedex will deliver your package to ANY address and mark it delivered to you leaving you and the shipper exposed to loss. My wife and I have had this happen twice since September. The latest episode occurred December 6th. Fedex truck stops next door and delivers across the street. Package tracking shows that it was delivered to our porch. A quick check with the neighbor shows three packages only one of which was for him. The other two were for two random individuals in the 75216 zip code near the Dallas Zoo! Our package remains lost. The first question Fedex has when filing the claim is "how much is it worth?" They will then assign a claim number which will never be followed up. This also happened in September. The truck stopped but no one came to the door. Two of us sat there and watched it but the package shows delivered. Did the driver steal it? It's a distinct possibility. So far the combined losses are about $150. In the first instance the shipper agreed to replace it. Because the package shows delivered they are under no obligation to do so. Fedex knowingly breaks the chain of custody - a quick search of http://fedex-sucks.net/ shows that this problem has reached epidemic proportions nation-wide. Institutionalized acceptance of delivery to wrong addresses opens the door to driver theft.

Fedex offered zero help in returning the packages destined for the 75216 zip code. Fortunately both had phone numbers printed on the label. One person's shipment was a Christmas gift for his son. He's picking it up from me today.

For first time ever in 30 years of shipping items- shipped fedex ground ($128 for 4 day shipping) lost 2 big boxes @ Newburgh, NY facility. I miraculously got someone from the worthless customer service helped me FIND my 2 family heirloom item boxes. THEN, instead of properly shipping quickly by air to me, after having lost my boxes for 2 wks, this negligent company threw my boxes in some truck to be bounced around the US fir another 2 wks!!! How negligent, shameful & illegal.

When I finally received, took 3 weeks for a 4 day shipping job, 1/3 of the contents were broken.

FedEx guarantee of shipping time or money back?

I better be getting back, ny $128 shipping & insurance costs.

If not, this former reporter vows to share many $1,000s in constant negative reviews to make up for my loss.

3: large shipment with multiple boxes sent to me on Monday and scheduled to arrive on Friday. I stayed home All day because they required a signature. I had to cancel a doctor’s appt. one package was delivered at 430. The driver said he didn’t know if the other boxes were on his truck or someone else’s - what!? It’s getting close to the end of the day and you can’t go look at the other packages in the truck to see if mine are there?? We missed a prepaid for ticketed event because we thought that maybe - like the steaks from the night before- the packages would arrive later. So frustrating.

Twice since September Fedex claims to have made a delivery but didn't. In September the truck stopped in front of our house but never dropped off a package but showed it delivered anyway. Two of us personally witnessed this and we had the non-delivery recorded on camera. We filed a claim - Fedex never found the package.

Today we witnessed Fedex stopping at the house next door and made a delivery across the street. Once again they showed our package delivered. It was not delivered across the street either but two of the three packages there were for addresses that were in a different zip code completely across town.

Fedex will leave your package at a random address but show it delivered to you. This leaves either you or the shipper completely out of luck.

The nit-wits at Fedex can't seem to grasp that there may be a problem with this. What worse is that they don't care.

If you're a shipper and you use Fedex just stop doing business with them now. You're doing yourself and your customers a huge disservice by using them. Fedex deserves to be bankrupted before they bankrupt you.

True to form the delivery schedule changed from by "by end of day" to 'who the hell knows'. They have an online chat so I gave it a whirl. All I could get out of "Mark K." was another weather delay excuse and if I want to pick it up at a FedEx facility, I would have to contact the company I purchased it from. Weather here was 60 and sunny with a nice breeze. Rain expected this weekend (the time I actually needed the packaged). Mark K. just stopped chatting when I asked for solutions. Saying your sorry doesn't the job done. Maybe they needed a canoe paddle this time.

Every single time something gets shipped FedEx something like this happens. I really wish companies would stop using them. I get that it is the busy time of the year, but don't put a date for delivery if you can't meet that date. It's garbage, and I really wish I could choose for the package to not be sent via them.

No tracking info beyond "In Transit" for over a week. Called yesterday and was told it was in their facility about 50 miles away and I would receive today. Nope. Called and they promised a call-back when they knew where it was....nope. No callback after more than 2 hours. Now, I'm on hold with them again waiting for their next lie. I'm leaving town tomorrow on business and what I'm waiting on is critical to my business. A very nice lady is on the phone now offering to open a case... I don't need a case - I need my stuff delivered.
Next time some website offers free delivery via FedEx, I will pay for shipping via UPS!

We have been waiting for 4 days to have a "Signature Required" package delivered. Showed that it arrived at their facility on Monday, on the truck for delivery every morning after and then later in the day we were notified there way a delivery exception due to weather conditions. The weather has been fine and we see their trucks in our town every day since. Horrible customer service to resolve the issue, with zero answers beyond what I could read for myself online. We have had someone waiting at our house each day while we are at work only to have the shipment postponed. UPS and USPS on the other hand have delivered several other packages ahead of schedule during the entire week. Garbage company with garbage excuses, I refuse to buy another product that uses this courier service!

I've been home waiting for a delivery, and all I got was a note on the door.

Again today, got an email that the delivery is rescheduled another day! CRAP!

Why can't I get the package from the FedEx facility?

Every delivery is delayed or re-routed and then delays the whole delivery process - especially DISRUPTING and INCONVENIENT because it is then delayed another day or two.

This is a total scam - Fedex won't give my expedited shipping costs back when they screwed up the delivery.

Turns out it's been at the local depot, about 10 minutes away (and literally across the street from where I happened to be yesterday) since then.

They're not even sure it'll go out Monday. What they can "offer" me is for me to go get it. OK, I can do that...

Except they're not sure it's accessible. So they called the depot. Said depot will check where it is in the container, and allegedly call me to tell me when I can go get my own f%@king package which they were supposed to deliver two days ago.

I finally find out at 5pm that it is now going to be delivered on Monday. Another day where I will have to wait around for these idiots all day and hope they actually show up.

Why don't more companies just switch to the post office. I never have these issues with the post office, only Fedex. They should just close up shop as they haven't a clue how to handle logistics.

Just too nice out for delivering packages apparently. UPS and Amazon are on time with 98% of deliveries, but with FedEx it’s always a roll of the dice and I usually lose. I used to try to have them just drop it at a FedEx/Kinkos as they take a lot of packages there daily but now when I try to “manage delivery” I get “we are unable to retrieve your tracking results”. Always hate when I see my stuff shipped FedEx.

It's always the same crap with Fedex. I have countless examples of poor service. Today yet another example. I had a delivery scheduled for today... "by end of the day" and it had to be signed for. So a few days ago I diverted the shipment to my local Fedex/Kinkos down the street from my house. There's no point in sitting at home all day waiting. oh and this is a surprise gift. So I'd like to keep it a secret from my wife. Hoping that it would deliver (and I could pick it up) BEFORE she got home from work... it's 4:30pm and my parcel is somewhere in PA, 3 hours from home and it isn't even on a delivery truck. But Fedex still says that it'll be delivered today. Of course I'm all too familiar with the last minute (9pm) delivery change.

Almost 50% of all Fedex deliveries to my home are problematic. Lost parcels, can't find my address or claim it doesn't exist (i live on a highly traveled secondary road, not a trail in the woods), claims of delivery but nothing actually delivered (I have security camera proof) and endless other nightmares. Then there's UPS... they delivered on time 95% of the time. My local UPS driver delivers to my door at 12:45pm... give or take 15 minutes!!

It's an open-air hallway. I received deliveries from WalMart and Vitacost this week. Boxes banged up, lying in that hallway. They might as well use dump trucks and just leave the packages in the parking lot next to the building.

Today I got a notification that they couldn't deliver it due to the business being closed. What? It's Walgreens. They're always open. I called and they said that even though I submitted the request yesterday, the driver just didn't get it in enough time ("they must have been swamped with requests"), so it won't be delivered until Monday. It was supposed to be delivered on the 4th! I offered to go to wherever the package is being held to pick it up myself, but it's "not a pick-up location".

My most recent experience happened when I bought myself a bed frame off amazon. Now idk why amazon started delegating shipment using fedex because everytime its some bs. Because of this I had asked my friend to sleep over my apartment because I had work during the delivery times and I didnt want them to lie and say no one was home. So I check my tracking and see that the package has been delivered. I call my friend to confirm and she says she heard no doorbell ring and when she checked the mailroom downstairs there wasnt any packages. I tell her to check outside and low and behold my 60 lb bedframe is OUTSIDE of my apartment just out in the open where anyone could take it. Again I live in an apartment on the 3rd floor so my poor friend had to carry this big ass package up 3 flights of stairs by herself. Something still doesnt seem right though so I go back on amazon where I purchased it and i go on the page and it says that the bedframe comes in 2 boxes. There was only one. But again fedex says the package was delivered. So I go straight to amazon live chat where they are very kind and say that they will file a report. On top of that livechat with fedex and they give me some bs excuse. Funny how after amazon contacts fedex the 2nd package magically appears and get this IN THE MAIL ROOM! so they were able to access my apartment these drivers are just f%@king lazy. I really hate fedex and i hope that amazon gets enough complaints where they stop delegating business to them because WTF! Anytime USPS delivers through amazon they are always able to get into my apartment building and even take a photo confirming the package is delivered. Fedex is trash!

Tell me why on that day I got a notif by them saying it couldnt be delivered again because no one was at home. I call my sister and she said she didnt hear a doorbell ring or anything. Then they tell me that the driver said that the address was wrong which I checked and everything was right. At this point im fed up so i call them and they are going to tel lme that they've already made several delivery attempts so they arent even sure if it can be delivered anymore. But here's the kicker, these f%@kers tell me that I can pick it up at their locker thingy in..get this....BROOKLYN. So now it's Dec 5, the next promised delivery date, and....you guessed it.... no delivery. Again, the driver ran out of time. I don't deliver packages, but I would assume if yesterday's deliveries weren't made on time, they would be the first ones to be delivered today. Either (1) they don't have enough trucks, or (2) don't have enough drivers, or (3) don't pay enough to recruit good drivers. Too bad that FedEx hasn't yet learned how to manage a good delivery service.

The message indicated their barcode was damaged and they could not read it. How did they know to contact me if that was the case? The package was shipped a week ago and I have been patiently waiting for delivery. I called 800 number to discuss and auto attendant put me on hold to speak with a human, then moments later a busy signal appeared. It is very clear Fedex places a very low priority on customer communication and satisfaction. I am sorely disappointed with Fedex!!!!!!

I go online and setup the option to have the package dropped off at Walgreens and the give a date for the day. Tomorrow comes and around 4pm I get a another update saying it won’t be delivered to the next business day. I’ve never experienced such crappy delivery service before.

I ordered a desk and it was meant to be delivered on a Tuesday. I got a notification that packaged was signed for by a strange name in 2 towns over!! I called the customer service and they stated it was postponed for the weather but they do not know why it was signed for. They then told me the package would be delivered the next day. Wednesday rolls around, waited all day, went to work, and still nothing. I get a notification that the package wasn't delivered because of the weather!! There was NO WEATHER that day! Thursday rolls around. It says on truck for delivery. I wasn't just going to trust that status, so I called and was able to contact the local depot where the package was being delivered from. Come to find out they had a few new drivers who decided they did not want to deliver all the packages on the truck so they put them in "delayed from the weather" status. Are you kidding me? The lady spoke with the route manager and she was actually very nice and apologetic. My package was finally delivered that Friday. I would only assume if I didn't make a phone call almost everyday the package would have been returned to sender and I wouldn't have gotten it at all.

At 7:00 pm tracking went from delivery today to pending, then at 8:00 pm it became delivery exception, delivery not attempted, local weather. There was a trace of snow today. The only reported road closure occurred due to the collapse of a poorly maintained building. If a minor accumulation of snow is enough to stop Fedex from delivering packages, they should probably close shop in Buffalo, NY during the winter.

I stayed home all day, rescheduled a dental appt for 12/5, and sat at the PC constantly checking fedex tracking. At 6PM tracking has changed - it will now arrive on 12/5..."before end of day". I'm not rescheduling my dental appt but will insist that any future senders use UPS.

Ordered a PC from Microsoft and told it would be delivered Monday. Got message on Fedex Monday AM that package would be delivered between 9 and 11 AM that day. NOPE!! Next day it shows "pending". Called several times on Tuesday each time being told it hadn't made it the final 30 miles to the "destination delivery point" but was in route. So early Wednesday morning it is finally "on delivery vehicle" for delivery between "9 and 11" -- NOPE AGAIN!!!!. It's now 9:30 PM, the delivery window went to "pending" a half hour ago and I've been on hold waiting for Fedex customer noservice for 20 minutes. Geez. Why do companies insist on still using Fedex? I'm experienced this issue multiple times with them in the past. Deliveries to the wrong address, late, etc. When they do deliver it's usually in a Budget rental truck and they throw the package close to my front porch where it gets wet if it's raining. They need to learn from UPS -- always on time, always friendly, always puts my packages (gently) in the corner near my front door and rings the door bell. FEDEX IS THE WORST!!!!!!

Ordered a tablet from Samsung and it was going to arrive a day I wouldn't be able to sign for it. I tried to have it held at a location for pickup but they said there was shipper restrictions. I went to Samsung and they said they have no restrictions on shipments and have never heard of this problem. The person I talked to from Samsung didn't even have instructions on what to do in this instance. They talked with me to four different Fedex representatives and never could resolve anything. The first one hung up on us, the next reluctantly transferred us to the technical support team, technical support could only give me excuses and transferred us back to customer support because they couldn't tell me where the shipping center was for my area, and the last person was the only person who spoke fluent English and gave me real explanations but was still unable to help me. The only good thing is that Samsung has elevated this problem to fix it hopefully for future customers.

FedEx strikes again. Before today, the last two items purchased that used FedEx had problems. One delivered to a house down the street under construction but they claimed it was delivered to my home. Our camera system never picked up the FedEx delivery person so we knew that was a lie. The other never showed up anywhere. Today a delivery that required someone to stay home so sign for it, never got delivered because the driver couldn't find my house. I live in a fairly urban 100 year old neighborhood and I have never failed to get deliveries from any other delivery services besides FedEx. Their service is terrible.

Package left another location in FL for delivery on Wed., 11/27/19 with expedited shipping. No delivery and service was shit down for Thanksgiving the next day. Friday, 11/29/19, said package was again out for delivery, yet again no package arrived. I went online to “manage delivery” to have it dropped at FedEx on-site at Walgreens down the street to avoiid further delays (assuming they were coming after business hours). Called Saturday only to hear my package was never placed on a truck and was not placed at the Walgreens location. After complained and speaking with two managers, recurved a call back to hear that my package would be delivered to the original location IN 15 MINUTES (where no one was at because it’s closed at this point).

Do I need to mention how bad I hate Fedex at this point? They are by far the worst courier service I have ever dealt with. No issues at all with any others. They always deliver TO MY BUSINESS ADRESS within business hours except Fedex.

What a waste of time and exhort and now I won’t get my package until almost a week late - if at all. It’s like a vicious circle of confusion with this outfit! ALL SHIPPERS SHOUKD STAY AWAY FROM FEDEX!!! Forward I will not use a vendor that uses Fedex, I’ll just choose another buying option instead.

We sent a package to Canada , next day air, on 11-21-19. We have a Fed Ex account number. The package should have been delivered in Edmonton Canada on 11-22-19. On Monday,11-25-19, we did a tracking and it showed it was still in Madison. We went back to the Fedex office and they said it was not in Madison but in Olive Branch, MS. Why?? They said it had the wrong address. So we updated the address, and assumed it was on its way. Now 3 days later, on 11-27-19 tracking still showing it was pending in Madison. We went in again to the Fedex office and they said the credit card on the account was expired. Why didn't they say that 5 days ago?? So we updated the credit card info and we're told all is good and it's going to be on it's way to Canada. So this morning 11-30-19,, we tracked it and it's back in Olive Branch, MS. WTF,,,,,,So we call and after going through 3 different people, we find out that the account info still hasn't been updated but will be this Monday and then sent on to Canada on 12-2-19 or 12-3-19. This is a full 13 days later on a next day air package. This is the name chain of Fedex employees that we talked to. First it was Dan that we talked to in person at the madison Fedex office. He told us everything looked good. Then it was Alicia in the Mineral Point Rd officethen Dan again, then Lexi, then Audrey in billing to update account info, then Lexi again. Then a different Dan at the Kinsman Blvd. office. Then Leo, then Beca in the trace department, She said Latisha, the case manager would call me back on Monday 12-2-19. The Terry, a supervisor in the Kinsman Blvd. Fedex office, who sounds like he really going to follow up on this to make sure it goes out on Monday, 12-2-19. As of right now, the package is in a black hole in Memphis, TN. Whew.......I'll follow up with this on Tuesday 12-3-19, to see if this package is finally delivered.

3. Submitted the extra required Commercial Invoice.
4. Two days later Customs were cleared.
5. Three days past the Customs clearance tracking is still is not updated (USA) the shipment is still undelivered even if the final delivery date has now passed. Thanksgiving was on tghe 28th and now it is the 30th. Friday was not a holiday and no progress. It's now been 15 days since it was picked up and still undelivered. Air Mail or Registered Mail would have already arrived at a marginal cost what FedEx costs.
6. Scheduled delivery is now pending and th two estimated delivery dates are now passed.

So, here's a crazy idea. Pick up my package from whatever hole you have lost it in, put it in a truck, drive it to my house, walk it up to my door, and place it on my doorstep . . . you know, DELIVER it, as you have contracted to do.
Sounds crazy, I know, but other delivery companies have tried this strategy for a business model, and it seems to be working for them.

Both times, customer service reps assured me they would “open an investigation” and promised that someone would call with an update by day’s end. Never happened. I dread having anything delivered by FedEx. They may be good for businesses, but residential deliveries are consistently awful. UPS runs circles around them.

Sent two emails, one 36 hours ago, the other 12 hours ago. Haven't even seen so much as a confirmation that my emails were received, let alone a proper response. How are they even still in business in this day and age? Their tracking is so useless they shouldn't even offer it. It's more frustrating than it is helpful.

I called FedEx in Europe and asked what docs I need to ship a gift to America. They gave me a waybill form to fill out and a declaration page and they told me that is all is needed and reconfimred it....

FedEx in Europe sends me an email (speed courier!) stating I must provide an Invoice. They don't say I must provide a Commercial Invoice and where to get it from they say nothing. So I spend whole day and find everything out from internet and I submit a C.I. to their email address since FedEx tracking does not refer me to anywhere useful. So 12 days of the ordeal nothing is moving yet and FedEx supposed to deliver it in a coupe of days! I will never use FedEx or EMS etc. unless someone forces me to and I won't be the one who is paying for it.

They said the station it's coming from doesn't deliver on Monday, yet they tried to deliver today at 10 am, HELLO, I WORK! I called when I got home and told them that Wednesday was my day off, so please tell the delivery person to deliver it then. Okay, they said, I'm notifying the driver right now. 10 minutes later, I get an email saying they will try to deliver again tomorrow (TUESDAY). If it's the same time, guess what, I will be AT WORK! That will be STRIKE TWO! If I leave the house at all on Wednesday, and they choose to deliver then, they will send my package back to the sender. They offered to LET me pick up the item at the delivery station. The address he gave me is for a drop box, plus it's a 20 minute drive, anyway. I told the guy I feel like I'm being penalized for being a productive member of society and working.

I ordered two new cell phones from TracFone and got free two day FedEx shipping. The package was scheduled to arrive today, but delivery was not attempted, due to "local weather conditions" - we had about a quarter inch of snow this morning, that barely laid on the roads. By 10 am, the roads were just slush. By noon, there were tiny little patches of snow on the grass, and the roads were completely clear. These conditions wouldn't even slow the USPS down. I chatted with them tonight through Facebook messenger. I was told that three deliveries would be attempted, then they would return my package. Now the package can be delivered any time from 9 am until 8 pm. The branch that delivers in my area doesn't deliver on Mondays, so if they deliver when I'm at work on Tuesday, that's strike one. I have off on Wednesday, but am leaving to pick up my son at college in the afternoon, so, with my luck, they will deliver then, and that will be strike two. I am sure they won't deliver on Thanksgiving. So maybe I'll get it on Friday, someone will be home then. Free two day shipping, 7 day shipping, whatever.

She actually looked into it properly and said it stopped movement around 440pm. She didn’t know why but she put a trace on the package and said they’ll call or email with updates. I get to the shop at 10:00 am, to find a note saying they tried to deliver at 9:30 am. I call them to tell them, that it is a business, that we open at 11:00 am and to please reschedule it for after 11:00 am, since on their website it now says that they will try again on Monday before 10:00 am again. Seems easy, right? wrong! Lady on the phone gives me attitude redirects me to their FedEx Delivery Management section online. I go to said website, create and account, input my info, only to get a message saying, that said services are ONLY available for residential address, not commercial addresses. So, I call them back, I get a different person that tell me that they can do it from their end, but that there is a service fee. I say screw the fee, so I hung up the phone. I then decide to change the address from the store to my home, since the problem seems to be that the service is not available for business, seem reasonable right? well, after I did that, I get a notification saying that congrats, "everything went okay" and in 3 to 5 days I will get a paper confirmation number, than they I have to input into the website to activate the service. WHAT?!!! Why the f@$& did you ask me for my mobile number and email? Would not be easy to send the code via text or email????

This is a pretty important package so I'm looking for the delivery. 3 PM rolls around and I go outside to find a sticker. The driver supposedly had come an hour earlier and if he did he must have knocked like he was brushing a fart out of his face. I had ordered some wines for an event that is happening tonight. Specifically chose a certain website because it said they would deliver by today. I signed up to get text notifications and checked the location of the driver this morning because I had a luncheon to attend; the map showed the driver as being a 5 hour drive away so I figured I had plenty of time.

I checked the website again a couple hours before leaving and there was an alert saying "Customer not home, delivery pending"- I was home! I received no text notification and no one rang my doorbell. Not even a sticker on my door. Tried to change the delivery location to a fedex store and they changed the delivery date to tomorrow- too late for the event! Called customer service and they said they would attempt to contact the driver and that it could only be sent to my home. Fine. An hour later as I leave my apartment to go to a luncheon, I see that a "missed you" sticker has recently been put on my door. I log in online and there is an additional "Customer not home, delivery pending" notification. WHAT the HECK! What is so difficult about ringing a damn doorbell?

Called customer service again and they said "the package won't be delivered until tomorrow", when i ask why no one rang my doorbell and why there is a sticker on my door he goes, "it's to notify you that it'll be delivered tomorrow" .... that makes no sense! And now I have to get more wines tonight.

I was outside working in the yard all afternoon and watched the Fedex truck drive by my house three times without stopping. At six o'clock that evening I checking the tracking and discovered that the package was listed as being delivered that afternoon. Fedex never responded to my emails, although the package was finally delivered on Monday afternoon, no explanation, no apologies, no kiss my ass, nothing. FedEx provides a horrible customer experience. Twice I have ordered from Sams Club and twice the address is not recognized by FedEx system. FedEx recognized the street but not the house number as the house is a new build. First time I called Fedex after the package remained in out for delivery status and they updated the address and delivered the next day. This time I saw on the order confirmation that the address only listed the street name and immediately called Sams Club. Sams Club said nothing could be done until the package was in shipped status. Once in shipped status, I called FedEx and the first agent told me they had to have Sams Club call them, when I told them it was unacceptable they transferred me to another agent who told me that I would need to wait until the package was delivered to the local area and then they would need to call them to correct the address. I told FedEx that their system is not recognizing my address as I had attempted to create an account to change the address and it said my street number/name combination was invalid on the FedEx system. Was then transferred to Manager Kevin who said he could not look at the information transmitted over from Sams and that he could do nothing based on their rules established by Sams Club. If FedEx System does not recognize a street number/name combination, why do they not notify either Sams Club or the customer directly to correct the problem rather than frustrating the customer with multiple calls to both the shipper and FedEx? The answer to that is because they do not care if the customer experience is horrible and frustrating as long as they get paid for the package delivery. Sams Club and FedEx is a horrible combination for new construction homes!! Systems not recognizing addresses and no exception report generated to proactively correct the problem is not the way to do business this time of year.

At 7pm still no delivery, and the tracking number page says "PENDING". This is not the first time. This was me waiting for a package, I also ship about a dozen packages a year. Some with Fedex, UPS and the USPS. You can't get even with the, unless you ship things and decide to use another shipper. That's what I'm going to do. Next year it will be the USPS or UPS.

Package shipped on Thursday with a Friday delivery (IL to OH). At 5:25pm I received an email stating that they attempted to deliver at 5:08pm but no one was home (of note, no signature required). We were home, have motion detectors that did not go off. I checked the RING video, and the truck past the house at 4:52pm. No attempt was ever made!

Scheduled again on Saturday, and got the treaded “No attempt made” email after 5pm. I even had another package scheduled for Saturday, same outcome. Called locally and was told today that they were having problems with the contractor. And “Next Business Day” apparently means not on a Monday.

How can a company like FedEx be so bad at what they are in business for? They make the USPS and UPS look perfect!

I messed up the address on the shipping details, that sucks but whatever, one number to change shouldn't be a problem. Fed Ex plans to charge me 6$ just to change the destination? What the hell? It is already saying it has no valid destination (which should have been checked before moving through multiple FedEx distribution centers), why does it cost money to correct it? So I contacted their automated support and it suggested contacting the shipper and having them change it, so I did that instead of paying because I figured that would be free. Boy was that dumb of me to assume FedEx would do one normal thing. They charged the shipper 16$ to change the address, where the hell is that logic coming from?! Anyways skip a couple days and the address still hasn't even changed after charging the shipper 16$. What the absolute f%@k. Whatever f%@k it I will pay the 6$ to just change the address f%@k it. Change recipient address, enter the adddress, confirm it, acknowledge fee. And then this 'question', would you like to add this address to your profile? The only answer is "continue" which redirects you to your settings and just sits there, and ends the change recipient address process. So every time I try to change the address I have to either cancel the process or hit continue and cancel the process. My package has been in Limbo since 11/13/19, I hope it can make it out sometime...

So FED EX has package for 2 days before tracking moves. Its in West Virginia,Then its in Ohio, Then its in Ohio again, then its in Arkansas. OK it heading my way, I am near San Antonio Texas. Next stop, Missouri, Now thats more like it. Wait, In New Mexico now? later that Day, WOO HOO ITS IN HOUSTON!! Only about 3 hours away. Next stop.........WTF? f'n ARIZONA? As of this minute, its in RIALTO CALIFORNIA!!!! What the hell happened in Houston? Oh and then the a**hole online retailer changed the delivery date to wednesday. If an online retailer uses anyone except United States Post Office to send your package, boycott them, and send them a message TELLING THEM THAT!! The USPS and its progenitors with all its flaws, has had 200 years to figure this delivery thing out. And they do a slightly better job.

If you are experiencing outages you had better put that on your website or notify them at the post office before they purchase ...because letting people buy expensive shipping..and only notifying them about the inability to deliver on time AFTER they have done so...is dishonest and shitty. I had to go to another website other than FedEx’s to find out they were having problems, and I bet they won’t refund any money to people who payed for a guaranteed delivery times.

It wasn’t personal affects and was informed this was documented. After a week, daily phone calls and emails. I was asked to submit a Commercial Invoice 2 times. Two weeks later the package is still in Johannesburg. The absolute worse customer service!! I had to call and email DAILY, being told something different each time. And apparently an agent can’t just call Johannesburg directly, each time I call I was told they document it online. I never spoke to the same person twice on the phone. Although I was informed the first day I had a case manager that would help me until it was delivered, but I never heard from her again. I paid $290 to ship a package and two weeks later still waiting!! Oh and Johannesburg Fed Ex is closed Sat and Sun???? Are you kidding me?? Fed Ex is closed is on the weekends!! I will never use Fed Ex again!!! Horrible !!

Receiving a LAPTOP (aka a sensitive and expensive package) delivered via Fedex. They miss me a couple times because I'm at work. I try to track my package via their website or app, but it tells me multiple times over the course of 24 hours that it's down and to try again later. I call their services, eventually getting a representative after several minutes of conversation with their terrible robot. Apparently, my vendor does not allow me to pick it up at their center or redirect it to my work. Fine, whatever. I stay home from work the next day to get the package. Hear the dog barking like someone's on the porch, and run downstairs immediately. Fedex delivery guy is gone, having left a "missed you" note without so much as knocking on my f%@king door. I run down the street and catch their truck driving past, but am unable to flag it down. End up venting accidentally to the Post Office guy whom I had initially approached in hopes that he was delivering my package.

"Well, I'm sure you'll be happy to know that Fedex is f%@king useless!"

I had a repaired laptop that had been shipped from Dell via FedEx. I live in an apartment with no doorperson or lobby and am at work most of the day, so I went online to set it to hold at a FedEx location (have done this many times), but didn't see an option to do it. I clicked around, then gave up and forgot about it. After their attempted delivery the next day, I remembered and called customer service. The representative was pleasant but unhelpful. I asked them to hold it at a FedEx location and they simply said "that option is not available with this package". I asked if I could change the delivery address to my work address and was told it was not allowed because I am not the sender. I asked if I could schedule the delivery to a time when I would be home from work, and the representative said that I could schedule delivery within a two hour window for a fee, but their system was down and they couldn't do it for me. They suggested I log on and set it myself. Not pumped about the fee, but whatever! Since I didn't have my laptop, I couldn't do it right there on the phone, so I went to work and got to it then. Once I logged on...no option to schedule the delivery.

I called customer service again and got a much less pleasant representative. I explained that I couldn't see the option to schedule my delivery and they said "if you cannot see that option online, then that option is not available". So helpful. I politely explained that I was not home to accept the delivery, and inquired what options were available to me so I could receive my package. The representative said I could sign the door tag and they would leave it at the door. I explained that I'm not okay doing this as it is an expensive laptop and I live in a major urban center. They offered no alternatives. I was frustrated to the point of tears at this point, but kept it polite and summarized my situation: that I was not comfortable having my package left at the door, I could not change my delivery address, I could not have it held at a FedEx location, and I could not schedule my delivery. They agreed this was all correct and again offered to solution or empathy. So I asked, with my voice wavering to keep the anger out, "so what can I do in order to get my package?" They said, "you can pick it up at the FedEx station after 6pm". I had to press them to tell me where the FedEx station is, and...with traffic it's over an hour away. I was obviously not thrilled with this solution, and told the representative this, asking one more time if there are any other options available, to which they responded "there is not an option to manage this delivery". I gave a sarcastic "great", but genuinely thanked the representative for their time because customer service is a shitty job and people scream at them all day long.

So I'm stuck choosing between driving an hour each direction in rush hour to pick up my package, or allowing for two more failed delivery attempts, then returning to Dell, then changing my delivery address, and shipping to my office. Not thrilled by either option. Luckily I don't desperately need my laptop for anything right now but DANG what the hell??? I recognize that I should have thought ahead and had it deliver to my office from the get-go, but I try to limit the personal packages to my office, and I had no reason to think I wouldn't be able to hold the package at a FedEx location like I do with every other FedEx package. Ugh.

I was supposed to have my package delivered on wednesday november 13th, delayed? That's fine I'm a patient person. That same day I got a notification stating its rescheduled for wednesday november 13th... WONDERFUL HOW PLEASANT OF YOU TO RESCHEDULE ON THE SAME DAY. Knowing it won't come, well you can guess what happened. Rescheduled AGAIN to be delivered on the 14th. 14th comes up and low any behold it was attempted. Now, my doorbell is broken and the package couldn't be left alone because it needed someone to be home, fine, I didn't hear it. Shouldn't there be a DOOR TAG? Low and behold there wasn't one!!! :) Called customer service to see about finding another option and they were no help!!! WOW! :)

What the f%@k is with needing an activation code MAILED physically to make any sort of changes to my delivery? Fedex needs to step up their shit. I really had no choice in choosing the delivery carrier and UPS has always given me the best service that can be easily accessed ONLINE, THROUGH EMAIL OR PHONE. Fedex is a piece of shit and I wish they would have more options to solve their shitty ass customer service and site.

Both employees made excuses and apologies to all customers and it was quite concerning that two people whom’s employment is basically about accepting and providing packages and they seemed like 1st graders trying to do their job. Tech challenges, serious challenges finding packages, slow activity with no sense of urgency, constant apologies that were not necessary and only showed inability. Just awful. I will never use fedex again for anything I don’t have to. Sell to USPS as they are doing a lot better

Every year, there is always some sort of issue with FedEx, whether that's delivering only our items on a semi that can't pull into our driveway, or not showing up on the day they're supposed to, or showing up at a time no one is at the church. This year, they tried to deliver at 9:00 a.m., when I had previously said no one was going to be there until at least 10:00 a.m.; when I called to see if they could redeliver today, they said they couldn't deliver until the next day, and only within a 6-hour window. We'll see what time they deliver tomorrow; I may be back for another rant.

On Wednesday November 6 I sent three cases of equipment from Fort Lauderdale to St. Thomas, $1700 for priority international. On Thursday, two of the packages were delivered to the boatyard, and the...

On Wednesday November 6 I sent three cases of equipment from Fort Lauderdale to St. Thomas, $1700 for priority international. On Thursday, two of the packages were delivered to the boatyard, and the driver told the yard manager that they had the other one and would bring it Friday. This corresponded completely with the online tracking, that said it would be delivered by 6:00pm Friday 11/8. The yard manager let me know on Saturday that the third case never showed, so I called customer service. The case manager was barely interested but told me the last scan was the arrival scan in Memphis Wednesday night, nothing since then, and acknowledged the online tracking was completely wrong. He promised to start a trace and said he would be in touch, created a case #. On Sunday when I called the representative said that there was another scan in Memphis after I had spoken to the agent, and that the case would fly that night and be in St. Thomas Monday. The online tracking now agreed, 6:00pm Monday. When I called Monday morning and got the third representative in the case management department, he now said the woman on Sunday was incorrect, there was no subsequent scan, and that in fact the Wednesday night scan may not have been a physical scan, just what he called a "manifest" and he would have to contact the Fort Lauderdale office in addition to trying to find it in Memphis. So, I went back to the Fort Lauderdale office and spoke to a helpful woman there, who searched her record and said there was a physical scan when I checked it in, one when they put in a container, and one at Fort Lauderdale airport when the container was sealed- so it had to have gotten on the plane to Memphis, and she believed the arrival scan was real. She was the first person that actually seemed interested in helping.

Later that day, after no contact, I called again and got another case manager, who at least didn't give me another story, and stuck to the story that the last scan was in Memphis Wednesday. She said she would contact the Memphis office, like the guy on Saturday and the guy Monday morning never did. The online tracking still shows out for delivery in St. Thomas, they have my money, it's a 44" 75 lb. package so it's not like it went in somebody's pocket.
It's equipment for a service job, the schedule is critical, it just cost me another grand to find and rent equipment to replace the missing stuff not including shipping the loaner stuff overnight from Houston to St. Thomas, the job schedule is now screwed, I get no contact from FedEx unless I call and every time I get a new person and a new story. If the driver hadn't told the yard on Thursday that they had the missing case I could have gotten on this sooner.

The stress, aggravation, and financial hit are out of control, and the FedEx attitude and service has been discouraging to say the least. They got my money and they are not doing anything to make me feel like they have a clue. Screwed in Fort Lauderdale.

Tuesday, 11/5, 3:08 p.m.: Notice received that delivery was scheduled for Wednesday.
Wednesday: Working from home, checked several times for order.
Wednesday, 3:45 p.m.: Text/email received that delivery was scheduled for Thursday
Wednesday, 3:50 p.m.: Text/email received that delivery was rescheduled to Thursday.
Thursday: checked status several times during day / evening. Status was repeatedly that it was on the delivery truck.
Friday, Nov 8, 9:52 a.m.: Text /email received that delivery was completed two days prior. Online history no longer reflects the rescheduled delivery or the status from Thursday.

I have print screens to confirm the above. My interpretation: the delivery person lost the package and Fedex updated their tracking information to cover themselves. Very dishonest.

Friday: Chatted with online assistant, that transferred me to a live agent and then told me I had to call. Called twice and was told Fedex had system issues and to call back. Third call they were more helpful but expected a call back today and did not receive it.

Today called and talked to someone I couldn't understand very well. He disconnected my call into a Fedex survey. I called back and was transferred to a Customer Advocate, who again disconnected me into a survey.

It would be nice if Fedex would apologize for the poor service, acknowledge that the online tracking is incorrect (I can share print screens of the text/email if you like), and agree that they lost the order.

I run an IT Service Desk for a large corporation. If we had support like this we would be fired.

Was suppose to get my package on Monday the 11th but was supposedly delivered on the 9th (Saturday) at 10am but no knock and no note. Now I have to wait till Tuesday the 12th.

Customer service is a shit show too, only was able to speak with a human that comprehended English fluently after 4 calls.

FedEx wants to save as much money as possible that they have call centers in India, hire independent contractors for courier services, and just loves hearing you call them about how you waste an entire day/s and or week/s and or month/s waiting for your package.

They except us to sit on our computers pressing F5 throughout the day to see the tracking process and yet they can never actually give you the correct day or time of when it will be delivered.

Received e-mail with delivery Monday 11th, with no advance notification they delivered Saturday 9th. I have Ring and no-one knocked on door or pushed Ring button. I have video (Arlo) on front of house and there was nothing reoorded.
But worse it that now they say it won't be delivered until Tuesday 12, so now I have to lose two days waiting for these incompetents.
I signed up for notifications of any change in delivery but they are not only morons but cannot read or follow their own rules.

But it's at least the 4th incident in the last 2 year.

Customer support is non existent they just want to shut you up having them apologize for their mistake does not put the package in my possession. Was expecting my package today and I went to look on the website I ordered from and they said that I was getting it today. But for some reason when I looked at the tracking history there was a "shipment exception" and not three minutes later according to the tracking page it arrived at the FedEx location. But for some reason that three minute delay caused my entire package to be delayed by an entire day!?!? What?!? That makes absolutely no sense!! They said that I would get my package by the 8th of November, but now it is looking like the 9th by the end of the day! This is exactly why I HATE having my things shipped to me! I've seen what the mail people do to my stuff and it is not okay! I would rather pick it up myself at the store but more often than not I am forced to have it shipped!

I have been trying to get an international discount for over 3 months now . I already have a pathetic Domestic discount but they can't add on international with my current account AND no one there knows how to set up an international account. To get a sales rep you have to leave a message and they may or may NOT call you back. IF you're LUCKY enough to have a rep call you back WHENEVER, they don't know how to create an international account. UNBELIEVABLE - NO CROSS TRAINING. I have had 5 different reps in 5 months so the company must suck for them as well.

Can't get a hold of international support to reroute a package ( a problem that is not addressed on the online form ) requires a REAL PERSON to figure it out how screwed up the shipment is. International takes you to the domestic line. HELLO! How tough is it to create a line specifically for international??
We dropped a 2 package order off at the FEDex store. There was something wrong with one of the labels so they only shipped out the one package WITHOUT the clearance docs. 5 days lost and the store says they are not supposed to know that that was wrong. They should have held the entire thing until the label was corrected.
Sothe store people aren't trained well, the reps are not cross trained, you can't get a hold of anyone but a customer service person in a foreign country where sometimes you can't understand them.

EVERYTHING is AUTOMATED and the OPTIONS/choices that they leave out of the choices are unbelievable.
You call the international line and it brings you to the same old customer service line and you hav to answer 5 questions to get to the WRONG person because none of the options apply to the issue and BY THE WAY its not for international either.

Hard to imagine a worse company to deal with... really. DON'T WASTE your time with these LOSERS. They are gonna get killed by AMAZON & UPS domestically and DHL internationally and they DESERVE TO GO OUT OF BIZ - STOCKHOLDERS SELL NOW before it's too late. It's gonna dive. When the stock plummets maybe the board will get rid of FRED SMITH. Retire already FRED. CLEARLY you're hanging out on the beach while the company goes to hell. So many incidents, so complicated each one is. Oh and by the way the online interfaces are so duplicative. Did an idiot create the site plans?? YES is the answer. No leadership.

IT feels good to tell someone what the hell is wrong with this company. CLEARLY that's why there is only one phone number to customer service people who know NOTHING. "Sorry SIR" "SORRY SIR" then they ask you to rate the PERSON vs the company after the phone call with one question. You give the sickningly sweet "phone answerer" a 5 so they don't lose their job while the company should get a -5... but they dont ask you that huuu FRED!
