My packages were one day late. They are ALWAYS at least one dying layer through FedEx. I always dread when I see "sent via FedEx." When they were delivered just now I got a normal alert from my cameras. I check it and see the delivery guy leaning these two large boxes against each other on one of the pillars on my porch. Ome of them is literally 7 or I feet long! They are completely visible from the street, "Hey look at these big boxes! Come get them!" FedEx is the only carrier I have this issue with. Theyre left leaning precariously against a pillar instead of being laid down on the floor of my porch. Why would you lean a long box against a pillar? It doesn't make any sense. This package and just about every package I get that's sent with FedEx is always left out in the open for the world to snatch at their leisure. Yes I have cameras but what real good does that do me? I can only hope they will still be there when I get home. Leaving them out and visible from the street is completely unacceptable. FedEx needs to teach their delivery people to think about what theyre doing! I sent an email to their complaint department. Not that anything will change! Aside from this incident, I've had them just set a large box on my side of the gate. They couldn't be bothered to push the gate (not latch required!) and walk it 10 feet up to my door. Then again, it would also be left right out in the open! I hate FedEx so much!

If I hadn’t been going out when I did it would have been gone. They got lucky this time. The mailboxes aren’t viewable from the house. It’s against the law to use a us postal mailbox for any other services. All I can say I guess they enjoy paying for lost packages. If I didn’t receive it the driver would have claimed he delivered it. I have pictures.

Supposedly 4 attempted deliveries over 4 days, but NO (zero) notifications of any kind left 3 of those times, then the gaul to indicate attempted delivery again today at indicated 10:55 AM ET - when I was actually home to receive it - and no actual attempt to deliver was in fact made, and again tracking indicates "Delivery exception - Customer not available or business closed
NORTH WALES, PA 19454"

Of course spending hours on the phone with so-called customer service is nothing more than additional waste of time and increase in frustration.

I already knew things had gotten very bad with FedEx , but this is outrageous - not even a single notification on 4 attempts - and a complete farce and mockery of the company it once was - a company that succeeded and grew on what was once an exceptional level of service, now turned to shit. Not even as good as the Post Office - never mind UPS.

I will refuse to use FedEx again.

FedEx claims a package was delivered but I never received it. FedEx driver logged my package as "delivered to back door" but I live in a building on a busy city street and we do not have a back door. I left a note on the front door with my phone number addressed to FedEx, telling them I'm in the building, please call on arrival. Nobody called. No door tag was placed on the door. The package contained medication which was needed in a timely manner. This is not the first time, it happens every time anyone sends anything via FedEx. Similar stories exist among friends throughout the city where I live - the packages never make it to us but the driver marks it as delivered. It's horrible.

FedEx is the best example I can think of in terms of a brand living off of its brand reputation instead of the deteriorating service it actually delivers. Some of the things I don't like about this company: charge extra for residential pickups, intentionally hold packages that aren't "due for delivery" (rather than providing fastest delivery possible), drivers often wait at the door for 3-4 seconds before leaving a slip, customer service is a bunch of silos, had packages delivered to wrong address, had packages damaged.

I am currently in Bangalore in Hospital for a checkup. I am Douw. I'm going to be your worst nightmare. I will be back to go through your extortion list that you have been throwing in my face over the past 2 months, but, as so many times before for this one package 2 MONTH shipment with hundreds of documents submitted. I will now go through it with a fine tooth comb, publically.


First of all, this was an ONLINE purchase... This was an online purchase that has now taken 2 MONTHS? - To explain better how it works - you go to a website, for instance, Amazon.com - you check out - they deliver to your Friend. This is just a camera - I did not get a quotation, you never get a quotation when you buy and check out online?


I do not have a manufacturer's price list - it's an "ONLINE-ADD-TO-CART-AND-CHECK-OUT-PROCESS". It's fairly new to you perhaps, its been around since the late 1990s but more specifically took off in the early 2000s (This is the Year Ano Domini).


Its called a website. When you go to a website (now in 2019) you see a product - you don't really remember the website or you don't really remember the name of the manufacturer. You just click add to cart - then you get to a page that is called CHECK OUT - then you pay with your credit card (This is a plastic card the size of a business card that transfers funds to the website and to the SHIPPING COMPANY - in this case, most, unfortunately, FEDEX, and furnish the online shop with an address for delivery. What happens next is suppose to have been perfected in the late 2002s to 2010?


Then you wait for your product to arrive. BUT NOOOOOOOO not at FEDUPEX


There you chop down two virgin forests in paperwork (and trust me I have the copy count) and you make the person wait two months for a stupid camera. SO - May I request the details of the Managing director of FedEx. I would like to lodge a formal complaint against FedEx with him as well as the Ombudsman of international shipping in India and South East Asia.


Then to make you burn a little extra for your disgusting behaviour, (as a top international specialist in online marketing and social media) I"m going to name and shame your company that you lose enough customers to pay for the forests of paper you had to cut down for one item, IN ADDITION and as the marketing director of ex-Vice President of the USA Al Gore's 'Climate Reality Project' I will make sure you are named and shamed on his website for the destruction caused by your bureaucracy.

• End use letter and mention the AWB (Tracking) number in letter (addressed to ‘Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Courier Cell, KIAL, Bangalore) explaining what exactly are the contents of the package, its use, purpose of import and mention value of the package. A scanned copy of duly signed letter needs to be forwarded to us to submit to customs.

Please allow us 48 to 72 hours for the clearance of your shipment, post receipt of documents/clearance instructions.

Warehousing Fees:

Shipments pending clearance for more than 3 days from the date of arrival are subject to the following demurrage/warehousing charges as applicable:

From 4 to 10 days (INR 2.2 per kg/day) or (INR 10/day) whichever is higher

From 11 to 20 days (INR 3.3 per kg/day) or (INR 20/day) whichever is higher

If value proof documents is not available, kindly provide declaration letter and mention the AWB (Tracking) number in letter (addressed to ‘Deputy Commissioner of Customs, Courier Cell, KIAL, Bangalore) in the letter requesting customs to clear the shipment on merit assessment on the fair market value and specifying that valid reason why the Value proof is not available and explaining what exactly are the contents of the package, its use, and purpose of import and also please mention value of the package.

Dear Disgusting Extortionistic Fedex,

You can open the package and also shove it somewhere where it will really hurt you. I have had enough of your extortion. You have demanded hundreds of documents that we all supplied yet you still want to make an extra buck to keep it in your warehouse. I have already started a Facebook campaign against FedEx blatant extortion which is nothing but disgusting.

For your information - if you think I'm leaving it here - you have a fat chance in hell, I will lodge a formal complaint with the ombudsman and I will continue with my online campaign against your unethical behaviour and extortionists culture within THE FedEx company. One thing I guarantee you - when you open that package you will find you have done the biggest damage to your company you can ever imagine - and guess what? It's A CAMERA!!

I got a text this morning that a package that I had been anxiously awaiting had been delivered to my house in Oregon at 9:20 a.m., and I'm home, but no package on my doorstep. I had an email from Target that they were "giddy" that my package had just been delivered to my correct address, but...no package. I immediately track it, and it had been delivered to someone's doorstep in EL SOBRANTE, CA! What?! I immediately call Fed Ex and was told that I would have to file a claim, they had no idea when I would hear back from someone, why or how that would happen, and that any questions that I had needed to be directed to the "trace agent." The only helpful information I was given was a claim number. I decided to call claims and ask if the driver could retrace his steps and retrieve my package, and I was told that while they could try that, I probably wouldn't have anything resolved until 48-72 hours, and couldn't I just call the company that shipped it to me? After all, I paid them for the merchandise, so I would ultimately have to file a claim with them. It wasn't Target's fault, or mine, it was 100% their error. THEY DIDN'T CARE! Where is the accountability? It's so unfair. I didn't even have a choice to use Fed Ex, but never again. I am so frustrated!

FEDX Sucks! They can't deliver an Express package when it;s due for delivery and they can't find the driver the package or any info on the package.

I ordered expensive electronics on July 1st and the item shipped out. It took FedEx nearly 24hrs to leave the state of California and traveled about 200-500miles in intervals of 12hrs+ at a time to get to NY.

I cut them some slack, but now I can see why literally no one has anything good to say about FedEx. They were supposed to deliver my package on 7/08, now they're delivering my package on 7/09... Now, you're probably thinking "that's not so bad," and I would agree, IF! they were atleast making headway and keeping me and other customers updated constantly like UPS and USPS. And on top of that, maybe if their methods were orthodox and concise and not a f%@king zigzag around the f%@king country.

They update delivery every 12hrs+ and then when they're 30mins away in NJ (I live in NY) they travel deeper into NJ and now they're 1hr away. And I still for the life of me, can't figure out how moving 30mins further away from the delivery destination would push back delivery of a 12lb package by 24hrs... Me, my friends and family, and my businesses will never use FedEx... NEVER.

I have been over the FedEx tracking site and tried to contact customer service ("contact us") but the system keeps giving me the same response.

I have had SEVERAL problems with FedEx, since I live WAY OUT in the "sticks". Most have been "tried delivering", "no one home (I only have vendors ship using LEAVE package)" and this is my favorite "equipment malfunction" and if FedEx is so great, why don't they use some of the over priced shipping charge money to buy newer equipment?

This is just out and out poor management of a third-rate delivery service.

It said my laptop will be here on Tuesday but lo and behold it came today...at 9:00 AM, an hour AFTER I leave for work. And try to call them to at least arrange to pick up at the distribution center..one rep said I couldn’t, I have to pick up at another designated location; the next rep said I can pick it up the next day meanwhile the laptop is HERE but they can’t and won’t send their drivers back to redeliver: the next rep confirmed that it was at the designated place but when I arrived there, it wasn’t there and the rep was very patronizing and flippant: the last rep at least was trying to empathize with me because by that time I was crying due to frustration of being talked to like a toddler. However, he said I CAN pick it up at the distribution center but after 6:00PM. While I’m writing this, I am in tears because I wanted to send it to my daughter who is in a college prep summer program and needs this laptop. I purchased it from Amazon who is an intermediary between third party sellers and customers. This has made me rethink about purchasing from Amazon seeing that they are not savvy about coming up with their own delivery system. I mean c’mon..they’re planning on having a friggin’ service to purchase your groceries and bringing them in your home and stocking them😳 In the future, I will purchase items online from Walmart seeing that they have an option to pick up at a designated store. This means Tuesday is the first chance I have to get my package (Note this is over a week at this time) However as fedex requires a person to sign for almost everything and the drivers are backed up from the weekend they do not knock on houses (I have cameras) they will just come up with the missed you slip no package and place on door and drive off. On Wednesday they will at least knock one time before posting he note. Instead of pulling over ina safe place for 5 minutes, the jerk goes back home. I told them that UPS had no trouble, USPS had no trouble. It's not a freaking hurricane, it's summer in the SE USA. There is a chance of thunderstorms every single day for the entire summer. A further look into weather.com will show an 80% chance of the same weather we had for the last 3 days for the next 5 days, then 60% after that. I contacted FedEx customer service regarding a package I dropped off at a Walgreen drop off location. The scanner at the location wasn't working so they just put the package on the shelf. The following day, the website was not showing that the package had been scanned yet. I told the customer service agent that I dropped off the package that at 2 PM, to which the agent responded that the packaged had been scanned into the system at 2:21 PM.

After I got off the phone, I realized that I meant to say 4 PM, not 2. There is no way the package was scanned at 2:21 PM. The agent lied to me so that I wouldn't continue to inquire about the package.

Another rep called me and informed me she would "accept responsibility" (her words, not mine) for my case, and, of course, they could just have the driver leave the package. No delivery attempt Monday. Tuesday at 12:30 pm while everyone was at lunch, they left it at an adjacent business, with no note. A tracking specialist said they would try to do better next time. When I suggested there would be no next time, she said that I could choose to not receive packages from them.

Not even the customer service representatives can get anyone on the phone in Oakland. So, my customers have been waiting WEEKS for me to send their orders to them that are contained in the shipment. How can FedEx sit on my inventory that is worth thousands of dollars for weeks??? Where is the accountability of this company?? I have been a FedEx customer for years and paid them bundles of money to transport my product. Now I'm treated like a low-level hack while my business is losing thousands of dollars because they won't deliver my package or even give me an explanation for why it is still sitting in Oakland. I've been reading these comments and I have a few suggestions for all of you... #1) if you're ordering something from Walmart and "need it for the weekend and it didn't get delivered".. my suggestion is to just to go Walmart. Dont be lazy. #2) the person who said the driver marked it as delivered before it was.. here is some helpful insight. Scanners sometimes die and drivers dont have an extra battery (which is why it would be marked delivered ahead of time). Please use your head, I understand why you would think obviously it's there, but have some patience. Just like whatever job you have, there are just certain things customers don't understand or refuse to comprehend. And lastly, for people who keep saying "everytime i get something from FedEx something is wrong, etc..." there's a very simple solution, which is order from a company that doesn't use FedEx, or go to the store yourself and buy it. 2. Called Fedex, gave tracking number, automated system didn't give it to the agent. I gave it again, was told that the package was delivered.

3. Again I checked front door, back door, and side porch, no package.

4. Called Fedex back, auto-system asked me THREE times for tracking number.

5. Spoke with agent again, was told again that it was delivered.

6. Checked front door again, and - there was the great, big package! The driver scanned it as "delivered" BEFORE he actually delivered it! Not helpful!

7. Called Fedex again, spoke with someone in India (again), explained what happened, asked them to please tell the driver to NOT scan as "delivered" until they WERE delivered, and the agent said, "So you didn't get your package?"

The box is either demolished, they take packages to the WRONG address, they LOOSE my packages, They won't delivery a day early even if the package is at the local facility 3 days early and so on...... Not to mention that they don't show up to the office until at least 4:30pm, usually closer to 5:30pm. UPS comes between 10am and noon everyday. Unfortunately, one equipment provider only ships with FedEx. I'm about to switch to another provider so I can get my stuff ON TIME and SECURE with UPS. I WILL make it my life goal to run FedEX's name in the ground!

So I was expecting a package and yesterday morning Fedex emailed me saying it'd be delivered by the end of day, and I needed to be present for a signature.

I had to ask for leave from work and stay home. Around noon I got an email saying they attempted delivery but apparently nobody is home at the time of delivery.

I immediately called their customer service, and they told me they couldn't contact the driver, and that I had to wait another day.

So today I didn't go to work again, and was staying at home again. Early afternoon I got the same email as yesterday, apparently they attempted another delivery, and nobody was home.

I called their customer service again, and verified my address and all, which are all correct. They basically offered no solution and now I have to go to their warehouse to pick the package up myself. What an amazing delivery service. The earth should be ashamed that there are such horrible "services" on this planet.

When I had time to stop by the CVS to pick up the package later that week, I found out it had been sent to some FedEx facility in Memphis, TN to be sent back to the seller. However, FedEx wouldn't send the package back to the seller until the seller paid for shipping. I contacted the seller but he simply told me the tracking information showed the package had been delivered and to go f*** myself. So I lost $56 on an item I'll never receive or be refunded for. We watch the truck/driver doing stuff on a tablet/phone sitting there for about 15 minutes, then the truck drives away (?) - go out to look for a package and there's a sticky-note on the saying they couldn't get anyone to sign so they'd try later.. UPS rings the doorbell when they make a delivery (just to let anyone in the house know somebody was at the door), USPS rings the doorbell also.. FedEx not knowing how to operate a doorbell is just one of the many aggravating shortcomings that delivery service has.

I could not find anywhere where I could "electronically sign". I called FedEx and after having a very difficult time getting a person to talk to he was very rude and condescending and no help at all. I told him I was just trying to follow the instructions. So, I went ahead and signed it and put it on my door when I left for work. I came home at 2:00 and the tag was still there, indicating to me they had not come by yet. I put a post it saying I was home on top of the tag, in case they wanted my signature. At 6:00 I get a notification that it was delivered to my front door at 1:10PM. Um, no. If you had delivered it, wouldn't you have removed the tag from the door? The seller and FedEx are of no help.

The few unfortunate times, I purchased something and FEDEX was the delivery service. FEDEX was very consistent. Consistently f%@king late.
I am so fed up with these inept losers. Countless times my package arrives somewhere in my State on the due date only to then be shipped to another State to only find it’s way back here. Is my package in carpool waiting for other packages to be dropped off. I am giving up. They are not able to ship the package from point A to point B without an adventure. Called to see wtf I could do about it and they say "Oh, you can either wait for it between the hours of 10AM AND 4PM TOMORROW or we can have it held at a location but they might not be notified to do that until THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW."

I sent a personal package from me, myself, and I to a friend at a company. Paid for it on my personal credit card. Simple.

Invoice shows up today with my friends company, my name, my home address. And that I owe the full amount I already paid. Which by the way is over the f'n top given I get the same delivery overnight from Amazon for nothing...

Easy mistake. I'll just call and inform them of their mistake.

The first guy tells me after hearing my story that he can't talk to me about the invoice because I'm not a representative of the company at my home address. WTF? I explained that I personally sent it and he said again and again that he couldn't talk to me because...you get it.

So, on to the manager. After explaining this, she looks up the transaction and tells me that my credit card was declined. Let's see, I SENT a package, it ARRIVED, but they let me do that with a declined credit card. She also told me that since I don't have an account...wait...the FIRST EMPLOYEE said he couldn't tell me shit because I'm not the representative, now I'm not a company. EMPLOYEE ONE LIED.

I also explained to this person about the company f%@k up, getting pissed at this point, and she tells me "I'm so sorry, I'll remedy that right now". I asked her 4 times, did you remove the company affiliation? YES!

So I call my bank. Indeed the money was sent to Fedex on the day I was in the store.

I called back to get what employee two said about how to remediate this because I'm so pissed with them I hung up, and I get a nice person who a) tells me how to remediate this, and offers to drop the charges. I didn't take her up on that...should of, but damn it I did get the service I paid for.

In the exchange with her I find out that EMPLOYEE 2 also f'n lied because they still think I'm a company. I mean, WTF? What is the point of misleading, lying, whatever the hell they are doing because they aren't doing what they say.

Remediation underway. We'll see. But man I'm dealing with the PO after this.

ARGGGGGGGGGGGG!! After waiting all day long for this package to be delivered I get a message at 7:10pm that fed Ex was "unable to deliver"!! Upon calling Fed Ex for the 5th time today I was told an attempt to find my address was attempted at 6:58pm. LIE!! I was sitting under my car port watching for the Fed Ex truck to arrive. No Fed Ex truck ever came near my house because I would of seen it!! I finally spoke with a manager (my 6th person of the day) and filed a complaint against the driver.

The last time I was to get a package "on the truck" that day for delivery I got it 6 days later.

If you haven't got your package by 5pm don't expect it to be delivered that day.


This driver was ready to get home and took the "Unable to deliver" excuse to get there!

Fed Ex needs to install tracker devices on these trucks so they can at least check that the driver was in the area "attempting" to find the location!!!

This means that they charge us for "delivery", the second attempt, AND the package still winds up missing the deadline. They say they can't find it (it is an apartment complex!). The say they can't get in (they have a fob to all the doors). The most recent one - today was that they don't leave packages at apartment complexes! Why on earth would I use Fed ex is they won't deliver to my apartment? Unfortunately, when you order stuff online you don't get to choose the delivery service. IDK - I think they get a new person on the route and they don't want to get out of the truck and think of all the reasons why they can't possibly deliver something. I really don't know. They also delivered a package priority overnight to someone down the street. I needed that package overnight and it took them 4 days to finally locate it. Fedex has a terrible reputation in our little city of 100k people.

When I got home, I had another notice pinned to the door that my package was available at the pick up point. I call FedEx again. The rep said the package was not at this pick up point and that it would be delivered today between 4pm and 8pm. When the package was not delivered within this time, I called FedEx. The rep said the package would be delivered on Monday. When pressed, she finally admitted that the package has been at the pick up point since 4pm yesterday, even though I was told it would be delivered to me today and that it was not in fact at the pick up point. This is unacceptable service from such a large company. I am self-employed and if I don't give my clients the best service I can every day, I will lose them. FedEx has just lost my business.

No hair dryer, no laundry, no shower, but somehow that's right when the delivery driver showed up and I didn't hear the doorbell. Our car was in the driveway, so the driver could have figured someone was home and knocked or something.

I've stayed home all day mere feet from the front door, the package is "out for Delivery", 5pm rolls around, let me track that package again......"Address unknown, driver unable to find location"! Are you kidding me? I live on a Way with only 2 residences and 1 Business. The Business receives packages daily via FedEx, and the driver doesn't know where the address is?? After a call to an unintelligible "Customer Service" rep, I was assured the package would arrive the next day. The next day I arrive home from work, no package! Track the package, it says it was delivered!? Where? I called FedEd and they look at delivery notes which say it was left on the front porch.....I don't have a front porch!! Go outside and walk over to my neighbors house and sure enough, there's my package! Keep in mind there are only 2 residences on my caldesac and we both have numbers near our door clearly visible!

On many occasions I find that the package gets delayed and always seems to end up being scheduled for final delivery on a Monday.....FedEx doesn't do deliveries to my area on Mondays...which means another delay till Tuesday!

It's to the point that if I'm ordering something online and my only choice for a delivery service is FedEx....I'll buy it somewhere else, and I'll tell the retailer the reason they are losing the business is FedEx lousy service!

What security reasons would they not want to tell me their country of origin? However, it seems that the package has not yet arrived at the destination facility and still at the sorting location and the facility will be following the commitment delivery for the shipment. I ordered some stuff on ebay that was supposed to come yesterday. Now it's supposed to come tomorrow. I checked all the tracking stuff, and guess what? It had been sitting in Salt Lake City for 3 DAYS! No delays listed, nothing. It literally would've been faster for me to drive 6 hours down to Salt Lake, get my package, and drive back. Now, it's been sitting at the local FedEx store for two days, and when I called to ask if I could just drive over and pick it up if they weren't going to deliver it, they said no. I've been forced to use FedEx twice now, and both times, it's been this same thing.

Too many times, FedEx says a package was delivered, when it is to be found nowhere. Case in point: FedEx package delivered yesterday (04/24), according to tracking records. You guessed it: Nowhere to be found. Called FedEx, jumped through innumerable hoops to get to a human, who acts as if you just woke him up. States driver indicated package was left at the "back door." Guess what? No back door where the packages are usually left. Undelivered package claim filed with FedEx, who states they will investigate. My guess is the dopey driver took it to another address or didn't deliver it at all. Whatever the case, assistance on the part of FedEx is virtually nonexistent. To make matters worse, I currently also have a damaged parcel claim in with them, which they inadvertently dismissed as a "lost shipment," when it was not. It was badly damaged in shipment. These people. Good grief. Tell the drivers to stop smoking dope while working and deliver the damned packages.

The item was processed immediately and I had a shipping notification within a few hours that the info for pickup was sent to FedEx. They picked it up on Wed April 24th, the delivery date given is May 1!! That is 7 days, Wed to Wed to deliver a package weighting 1.8lbs 2 1/2 hrs away, 100 miles away .... Now in the past I have had FedEx HOLD a package for delivery, it made it to their delivery warehouse 2 days early and sat on hold until the delivery date. So, if it does take 7 days to get delivered I am going to post this to every media site I can find, contact as many news outlets than I can contact, call FedEx personally and anything else I can think of. Woke up this morning and tracking said they didn’t even ship it until 1:00 this morning and the delivery date has now been changed to end of day tomorrow.
Thanks assclowns. I leave for a week at noon tomorrow. Hence the reason OVERNIGHT/Next Day was request on Wednesday.
This constantly happens with FedEx. They receive a package and hold onto it for a day or more.
I work regularly with dozens of trucking and transportation companies.
And Fedex is the worst..

I called back and asked for a Supervisor who gave me the pick up # and said that they will come on 4/9/19 between 8am and 6pm. At 2:53pm on April 9th I got a call from Fex Ex to give them my apt # which I gave the agent again for the second time. At 5:45pm I called Fed Ex on 4/9 as I was worried since 6pm was approaching and no pick up only to be told that the driver did not have my apt # and all of the drivers had gone back to the station. Contacted the Amazon vendor to make the change, he reply that he can not made any changes. Sooo, call FedEx again, asked them to ship after 6pm so there is someone to sign. Guess what, the driver left a Door Tag @ 1.24pm. Clearly they do not give three shits about us, the end recepient. They only care about the delivery quota and getting back on time to their main location to punch out and go home. Today I wasted the entire day, a Saturday. They gave me a window from 10am to 2pm, and guess again no one showed up. We called again they say the driver is on his way to give them until 6pm, again no one. Called again, they again said the driver is on its way to give it until 8pm. And you guess it, no one showed up. We spend the past half hour talking some default customer service crappy company, they finally transfer us to a US based customer service, and they said they will call the main location to hold the package there for pickup on Monday. This shipped on 2/26 – was delivered to a different location than mine on 3/5. On their site it lists GGOFT signed for it.
I contacted FedEx who informed me that the business was inaccessible and was left at the front door at 1130 am. What?! These items are being delivered to my place of employment which is a business.
Out front doors are open at minimum regular business hours, so being left at the front door was a blatant lie.
The next day the FedEx driver comes looking for me, with a transcript of the “chat” conversation I had with FedEx, he’s trying to remember where he left it. Really? So later that day he calls me (because my phone number IS listed on the shipping label)
Saying he now knows where he left it, and that he would try to go retrieve it and drop it off.
It didn’t show up here until 03/12/2019.

Third failure:

Invoice Date: 3/15/19
Checked tracking earlier this week – said it was going to be here Friday – then updated to being delivered Thursday. (cool they are ahead of schedule)
Thursday rolls around and it was updated to the following:
Thursday , 3/21/2019 7:53 am PORTLAND, OR On FedEx vehicle for delivery
Needless to say, its Friday – no FedEX drop off for me and it now says “pending” and “No scheduled delivery date available at this time.”
I contact FedEx, who’s terrible customer service gives me the typical copy and paste answers – not answering my query of WHY it was delayed.
She 1st tried to give the excuse of the label being un-readable, but that was on initial pick up, not resulting in delaying delivery since the package was already on the truck Thursday. (yesterday)
She had to transfer me to a “CAT” rep – because my question was beyond what she was capable of answering.
This new rep says that it was pushed out to be delivered on 03/25/2019 due to an agreement with the shipper!?!?
So now they are throwing JEGs under the “fedex”truck. Sad…

Update to this 3rd failure.
Checked the tracking on this today as I ASSURED it would be delivered today - they sent it to CALIFORNIA?!?! Now it's not getting here till 03/27. Almost a week from the original time it was loaded on the truck to be delivered.
I have contacted the shipped and set my account up to ONLY ship with UPS. I'm SO over FEDEX right now.

This is the fourth time I have had issues this past year with Fedex. I had a package that was supposed to be delivered by 3/20/19 and as of today 3/25/19 I am still waiting on this package. Why pay for shipping if the company is not capable of delivering the package. This is there job, getting packages where and when they need to be. What the hell is wrong with Fedex that you are seriously incompetent. Besides working fulltime I have my small business which only allows time for me to do on the weekends. Due to this I am a week behind on my orders. I keep getting delivery exceptions and Saturday was told they had the wrong address, which they did not. I seriously do not think they even really know where my package is and keep making excuses. This is the last straw. I now have to figure out where to get my supplies from and pick new supplier because I cannot continue to get products from companies that use FedEx. Everyone in FedEx is instructed to always say the protective term 'Pending No Customs Delays' - This protects them from having to reimburse the shipment because they make us some Bull$hit cop out excuse that is a blatant LIE! My last on was 'Insufficient Description' - When I contacted Customer Service asking which line was Insufficient for Basic product description for nuts, bolts & washers (Sizes and Style provided in description - only sent parts like this a thousand times before) I got another washout excuse about a Federal Tax number being required. The FedEx Call in Help desk people are helpless because all they have are lying excuse notes provided by people that you can never get in contact with. The rage builds when you call back (after being promised a call from someone) only to be told that they attempted to call you. Another LIE. I have been involved with International Exporting for 22 years, and the truth is - FedEx, UPS, DHL, ect... They are all the same. This is a comment about how much FedEx Express sucks. Express is about time-sensitive parcels or freight, right? In the last month, FE Express has come to pick up either parcels or freight AFTER our business' closing time forcing employees to stay past quitting time. In both instances, the SCHEDULED pickup was missed and we had to call FE to get a driver to come and get the items they neglected to pick up in the first place. Since these were next day and 3-day shipments, it was imperative that they left our location that day. In the case of the 3-day freight shipment, I called their "customer service" (ha!) line at 30 minutes past our closing time to ask if a truck was coming to get the pallet for which I'd scheduled a pickup six hours earlier. The FedEx employee's response? "Not tonight." They teach you that in customer service college? First time I've ever cursed at a customer service person over the phone. Eventually that pallet went out the door, but not until there was much cursing, head-bashing and a strong desire for FedEx to implode and cease to exist.....ah, it'll happen soon enough.

Just had another incident with FedEx. Item I ordered was on back order. The rest of the order was sent by USPS as requested, but the back order item came via FedEx. After a month of waiting, I dig through my email and find the back ordered item had been "delivered" 2 weeks, though it never appeared on my porch. This is only the third time something like this has happened with FedEx. Filed a new claim and hope they get the item I wanted back in stock again soon.

Some past issues I've had:
Delivery driver skips my house 2 days in a row because of "bad roads", though the mail and UPS ran with no issues either day. Turned out he was using this as an excuse to go home early.

Delivery driver asked me to deliver packages to my neighbor. After I ran into him where I work, I was told by the secretary that he did the same thing to people there so he could save time and get off earlier.

New delivery driver plows through my entire yard in the snow just to get close to the porch and proceeds to get stuck. She had to get a tow truck to pull her out and destroyed the yard in the process.

This company and the people they hire are jokes, and not even funny jokes.

New Orleans, ALL FedEx experiences have bee a horror. Driver REFUSES to bring packages to apartment doors, he simply tosses packages on the sidewalk in front of apartment building and leaves, no matter the weather. Packages are stolen or damaged by rain. My last online order, I waited NINE HOURS outside in the heat, no place to sit, driver NEVER SHOWED, even after I called them 4 times throughout the day and was PROMISED delivery. I am 70 plus years old, not very healthy and fresh out of surgery. I explained this to the phone rep.only to be lied to. This is only 1 of 5 similar experiences. One time, I was outside waiting and on the phone with their customer service dept..The driver came up, dumped a 100+ pound box and began to walk away. I told the customer service rep what was happening, she said, "put him on the phone", he wouldn't talk to her. He got in his truck, she told me to get the license plate number, there was NO license plate on the truck. While I was trying to tell her the number on the top of the side of the truck, he drove away, almost hitting me and ran a red light!! She reported it to local terminal, manager. apparently in St. Rose, LA, he said he would send driver back, it NEVER happened. I will no longer order from any retailer who uses FedEx because FedEx SUCKS.
